DESCRIPTION:Holistic Nutritionist Kate Leinweber returns with an all-new installment of her popular after-school cooking workshop for kids 8-12. This is a fun\, hands-on class that engages your child with healthy food and build kitchen confidence. In these classes kids will learn useful food and nutrition basics\, cook skills and kitchen safety\, how to make good foods choice to support their bodies\, and even how to clean up a little too (hopefully!). \nWeek 1 – Breakfast\nDesserts as breakfast. This class will experiment with taking some yummy desserts and making them in a nutritious way that gives kids the energy they need to start the day. \nWeek 2 – Lunch\nWrap it\, Vietnamese style. Using rice wraps kids will create their own wrap and tasty dipping sauce. \nWeek 3 – Dinner\nStuff it! Stuffed portabello mushrooms & zucchini boats. \nWeek 4 – Dessert\nUpside down desserts.
